Licensing

Licensed. Insured. Verifiable.

We're DBPR-certified contractors. Paste either license number into myfloridalicense.com to verify status independently — before you call, before you email, before anything.

Our licenses

Two numbers. Both public.

CAC1822797

Certified Class A Air Conditioning Contractor

Full-scope air conditioning: equipment installation, replacement, and service of central AC, heat pumps, mini-splits, and related ductwork.

CFC050548

Certified Plumbing Contractor

Refrigerant line sets and condensate drain work that accompanies every HVAC replacement — covered under our own license, not subcontracted.

Insurance

The coverage that matters.

General liability.

Active general liability coverage on every install — the state-mandated minimum for any CAC-certified Florida contractor. Certificates available on request.

Workers' compensation.

Florida Workers' Comp renewed on schedule. Protects you and the crew on every job. The labor warranty is an insurance product — it survives any individual installer.

Always permitted. Always inspected.

We pull permits on every installation. Every job is inspected by the local building department. No shortcuts — Florida law requires both.

Partner screening.

Partner contractors document active DBPR license, current insurance, and EPA/NATE credentials before routing a single job. Unverifiable means inactive.

Partner vetting

No anonymous subcontractor roulette.

When NewHVACDeals routes a job to a partner, the standard is operational and documented. Licensed crews, insured work, permit-first installs, and no mystery about who is walking into your home.

  • Permit and inspection responsibility disclosed up front
Common questions

The things people actually ask us.

How do I verify NewHVACDeals is actually licensed?

Go to myfloridalicense.com/wl11.asp, select the "License Number" search, and paste CAC1822797 (Class A Air Conditioning) or CFC050548 (Plumbing). The DBPR lookup will return our public record: issue date, status, and the licensed qualifier's name. We welcome verification — that's the point of showing both numbers up front.

Which Florida agency actually regulates HVAC contractors?

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), acting through the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB). Both of our numbers — CAC1822797 (air conditioning) and CFC050548 (plumbing) — are DBPR certifications you can verify at myfloridalicense.com. If you see a Florida HVAC company claiming to be licensed by the state's insurance regulator instead, that agency does not license contractors — they license insurers and agents. Our General Liability and Workers' Comp policies are written by state-regulated insurers, but the contractor license itself is always DBPR.

What does your warranty cover?

Equipment defects are covered by the manufacturer's factory warranty (terms vary by tier). Installation workmanship is covered by our labor warranty for the period stated on your order. If a partner contractor becomes unavailable, we route follow-up service to another qualified contractor in our network at no additional cost to you.

Do you pull permits on every job?

Yes. Every installation is permitted with the local building department and inspected on completion. This is required by Florida law for HVAC work, and we don't skip it. The permit number and inspection result become part of your install record.

How do you vet partner contractors?

Before a partner contractor can take a NewHVACDeals job, we verify active DBPR licensing, collect current general liability and workers' comp documents, confirm EPA/NATE or manufacturer credentials for the equipment they install, and require them to follow our permit-first install and warranty service standards. Before install day, you receive the installing company's name, license number, and direct contact details so you can verify who is coming to your home.

What if something goes wrong after installation?

Call the number on your install paperwork. If it's a manufacturing defect, the equipment warranty covers it. If it's an installation issue, our labor warranty covers it. If a partner contractor is unresponsive, we route the follow-up to another qualified contractor in our network at no cost to you.

You shouldn't have to trust us — you should be able to verify us. And you can.
