What we collect, why, where it goes, and how to delete it.

Effective April 14, 2026

NewHVACDeals is an AI-powered HVAC installer. We collect the bare minimum we need to design and install your system, and we never sell your contact information to anyone. If we can't explain why we're collecting something in plain English, we stop collecting it. This page spells out exactly what we gather, how we use it, and how to change your mind.

What we collect

You give us directly

Name, email, phone number, home address, ZIP code, property details you share with RITA (square footage, equipment age, comfort issues), photos of your existing system, and any messages you send us.

Payment information

Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details — Stripe returns only a token that lets us reference the charge for refunds and receipts.

Automatic

IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and the device you're using. Used to keep the site reliable and debug issues — not sold, not shared with advertisers beyond the standard GA4 / Meta Pixel event stream described below.

Property lookups

If you enter a street address, we call ATTOM Data to fetch public property records (lot size, year built, etc.) so RITA can size your system accurately. ATTOM is contractually barred from using this data for any purpose besides answering our lookup.

How we use it

  • Designing your HVAC system recommendation with RITA (our Anthropic Claude-powered consultant).
  • Matching you with a licensed Florida installer in your service area.
  • Processing your deposit and balance payments through Stripe.
  • Sending receipts, install reminders, and post-install follow-ups by email and SMS.
  • Applying utility rebates and tax credits you qualify for.
  • Improving the product — aggregated, de-identified analytics only.

We do not sell your data. We do not rent lists. We do not share your contact details with other HVAC companies. If we ever change that, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to opt out.

No-spam promise

If you reserve a system with us, you'll get emails about your install, warranty, and maintenance reminders. That's it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. We will never pass your number to a call center or sell your email to a third-party HVAC marketer — this is the entire reason NewHVACDeals exists.

Partners we share data with

We use a handful of trusted processors to run the service. Each is contractually bound to keep your data secure and delete it on request.

Your rights

Florida doesn't have a comprehensive consumer privacy law yet, but we grant every customer the same rights that California residents have under the CCPA — without making you prove residency.

Access

Ask us what we have on file — we'll send it within 30 days.

Correction

Tell us to fix anything that's wrong. Usually same-day.

Deletion

Ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it. We honor this within 30 days unless Florida law requires us to keep certain records (e.g. warranty, tax) — we'll tell you exactly which ones.

Portability

Get a machine-readable copy of your data to take elsewhere.

Opt-out of marketing

One click in any email, or reply STOP to any SMS. Transactional messages (receipts, install confirmations) still go through because they're part of the service.

How to reach us

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update the effective date and email every customer whose address we have on file. Trivial updates (typo fixes, re-ordering sections) don't trigger a notification.

This privacy policy is provided in good faith and does not constitute legal advice. If you have specific questions about your rights under Florida or federal law, consult a licensed attorney. See also our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
